1. cracked me up - made me laugh

ex:- That comedian joke crakes me up.

2. Have a crack - have a try for action (not for food only for action)

ex:- Have a crack for this this exam.

3. It's a bit tricky - it's difficult

ex:- Learning Chinese language is a bit tricky. 

4. on the back burner - finish it later

ex:- The government quietly put the scheme on the back burner.

5. Dodgy - not trustworthy/ not very good

ex:- He was a bit of  a dodgy character.

This is new class for Australian Slangs. We'll learn slowly slowly slangs and accent practice our Aussie accent. Well it a little same as British accent. Let's learn more Australian accent slangs.

DON'T FORGET TO TRY THESE SLANGS IN DAILY LIFE.

1. stuffed it up - messed it up or made a mistake

EX:-  Again, I stuffed it up my Physics exam.

2. Sticky beak - an inquisitive person

EX:- She is sticky beak.

3. Give it a go - give it a try

EX:- I've never baked an apple pie, but I'm willing to give it a go.

4. I gave it a red hot go - I tried my best.

EX:- I don't wanna take Business class but I gave it a red hot go. 

5. Cracked it :- got angry

EX:- I was just trying to make her laugh but she cracked it on me.


Practice everyday and learn everyday. One day you'll have natural Aussie accent. But please don't mix your real accent with Australian then you'll speak mix accent(I' kidding because when I learn accent it happen with me).

Hey! I'm back with Australian accent classes. Today exercise is to learn few Australian slangs for sounding more like an Australian and natural. Try to use these slangs with your friends. If you have an Australian then it's too good. 

Let's start our Today lesson

1. reckon - think

ex:- Who do you reckon I am?

2. Fortnight -  two weeks

ex:- Let's plan a trip for more than a Fortnight.

3. Pull your head in - stop acting poorly/ weirdly or stop what you are doing

ex:- 

4. I'm puffed- I'm out of breath

ex:- After exercising I'm puffed.

5. nut it out - figure it out

ex:- I've heard just about enough out of you mate, you'd best pull your head in.

6. under the pump - under the pressure

ex:- Now a days exams going on children are under the pump

7. doin' my head in - driving me crazy 

ex:- You are doin' my head in.

8. can be stuffed - can't be bothered

ex:- Whatever happens don't tell I can be stuffed.

Let me tell you tell you that its actually pronounce as Stralia. Its good right. Let's move on to our very basic step. There is an exception in every rule.

Words that ends with er, or, ar, ure, our, re these sounds are replaced by sound a. Practice some words with me. 1......2.......3......start
